Mary Hunt is a vocal coach, vocal competition adjudicator, guest teaching artist, and performer. She has been singing for most of her life, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Eva Cassidy, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Kurt Elling, Robert Plant, and Mary J. Blige. Her style is deeply rooted in jazz and blues, with influences that shine through in both her phrasing and emotional delivery.

She has performed alongside Jonathan Edwards in Greenville, Maine for an intimate audience, and has also taken the stage with the Chicago Blues Angels at Buddy Guy’s Blues Club in Chicago.
